Upphittat/ Found is my collection of rocks, boulders, cliffs, lichens and mosses. Something doesn’t have to be lost to be found. For me it means to discover something new and previously unnoticed. /Emma

Eko / Echo (2022-)

Eko / Echo is the name of my portraits of old sculptures. Sculptures with static faces and bodies is like echoes reflecting life, a delay of something that has been, of a past time. When I lost my father I found comfort in the meetings of these objects. To make it last and to keep the impressions I started to make my own interpretations. /Emma

Metamorfos / Metamorphosis (2018-2020)

Metamorfos / Metamorphosis is the name of a series of images with a woman and a lace fabric. Sometimes the woman is hidden behind fabric and sometimes more visible, sometimes she is standing still and sometimes she is moving. Some paintings are in grayscale and some with elements of color. My work process was all about expressing feelings of the life-changing event of becoming a mother. My drawings mirror my experience of the rebirth of myself.
